How To Tackle Difficult Chapters

There are certain chapters in each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics that most of the NEET aspirants find difficult, and you lose most of your marks in the questions from those chapters. Since they’re difficult to learn, students also have a habit to postpone learning them. But keep in mind that you will have an advantage over other students even if you only succeed in one challenging chapter. Imagine the increase in your rank if you could successfully complete the majority of the challenging chapters. Let’s now see how you can tackle these chapters.

Step 1: Identify

The tests you give will highlight your areas of weakness. So attempt mock tests and create a list of the challenging chapters in each subject. You can also register in our NEET 2024/25 Test Series which contains Chapter-wise, Unit-wise and complete syllabus Mock tests to identify those chapters.

Step 2: Divide into Smaller Subtopics

The truth is that you won’t find the entire chapter challenging. You must be having trouble with a small number of subtopics. Create a list of those subtopics. We assure you that despite its size, the list appears less daunting now that you know just where to work hard.

Step 3: One Topic for One Week

Take one week’s time with each topic. If it is more convenient for you, you can divide the time into smaller chunks, such as two or three days for each subtopic. Your degree of comfort and devotion are crucial in this situation. Now set aside one hour each day for only this topic. Use any tools you have at your disposal, including question banks and videos.

Remove the subtopic from the list at the end of each week. That’s it, gradually, you will notice that the list of your challenging subjects has shrunk to a very tiny number. I really hope that these NEET preparation suggestions will be very beneficial to you.
